Mosquito Trap with Lure- Outdoors The Yard Guard Mosquito Trap attracts and kills mosquitoes through the use of a 360 degree UV special spectrum Black Ultra Violet light and a heat plate. Unit also accepts octenol Lures, sold separately. This is paired with the special spectrum black UV light which is more attractive to mosquitoes than standard UV lights and a heat plate and mosquitoes don't stand a chance. Once lured to the Mosquito trap they are sucked downwards into a bag by a fan and die within hours of capture from dehydration. The bag is easily emptied and re-attached ready for use. The unit is IP64 Weatherproof with a step down low voltage adaptor, can be permanently left outdoors. We suggest hanging the trap by its integrated hanging handle, but the trap can also be rested on a shelf or cupboard. Its silent operation means it can be used around seating and dining areas without distracting anyone with constant zapping. The Mosquito Trap lures mosquitoes over a 1500square metre area, therefore ideal for use on a suburban block.
